Ryan Moss and Kelvin Duran Arrested for Shooting at Tampa’s Pink Pussycat Lounge

Tampa Police arrested 26-year-old Ryan Moss and 27-year-old Kelvin Duran after a shooting outside the Pink Pussycat Lounge at 10924 N. Nebraska Ave. on Friday, July 5th, 2024.

“The quick action by Tampa Police officers this morning prevented more violence and kept everyone safe,” said Chief Lee Bercaw. “Our main focus is the well-being of the victims, and these arrests are the first step to getting them justice.”

The incident started with an argument and fight between the suspects and a 25-year-old security guard, which moved into the parking lot. Duran and Moss then drove their car to the club entrance. Moss, sitting in the passenger seat, shot the security guard in the abdomen with a 9mm handgun.

The security guard fired back, hitting the car, which then crashed into another parked car.

Tampa Police arrived quickly, arrested both suspects, and provided first aid to the victims.

Three uninvolved Hispanic men in their early 30s were also injured but their injuries were not life-threatening. They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The security guard, taken to the hospital for emergency surgery, is in critical but stable condition.

All guns involved were recovered.

Moss was charged with Attempted Murder and four counts of Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon. Duran was charged with Principal to Attempted Murder and Principal to Aggravated Battery with Great Bodily Harm or Deadly Weapon.

Both Moss and Duran were taken to Orient Road Jail.
