Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Suspect in Royal Palm Beach Shooting

A suspect has been accused of a shooting and robbery at a Royal Palm Beach shopping center, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO).

On Friday, just after 5:00 p.m., deputies responded to a shooting at the Village Royale Shopping Plaza near Royal Palm Beach Boulevard and Okeechobee Boulevard.

When deputies arrived, they found a victim with a gunshot wound to the hand, and the suspect had already fled the scene.

After investigating, deputies identified the suspect as 23-year-old Quinton Robinson, a PBSO spokesperson said.

PBSO reported that Robinson was arrested on Saturday after deputies searched a home and found the gun used in the robbery, the clothes Robinson wore, and cash.

Robinson faces charges of two counts of robbery with a firearm, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and four counts of drug possession.
