Hispanic Heritage Month kicks off at Palm Beach County’s Main Library

The Palm Beach County Library System invites the public to an “Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff Celebration” at the Main Library branch on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 2 p.m.

Come celebrate our community’s cultural diversity, the beautiful traditions of Latin American countries and the contributions Hispanics have made to American society. There will be lively performances by Wayna: Music of the Andes with music from Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, as well as a Peruvian folkloric dance by the Marinera Kids.

Registration for the event is required and can be made by calling 233-2600. The Main Library branch is at 3650 Summit Blvd. in West Palm Beach.
