Cleveland Clinic Florida officially opens Wellington office

Local dignitaries from Wellington and area chambers gathered Tuesday, March 13, as the village officially welcomed the opening of Cleveland Clinic Florida’s newest medical center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its location at the Village Green Center on State Road 7.

The 7,500-square-foot facility, which boasts 22 exam rooms, offers primary care and cardiology services. Gastroenterology services will be added this summer.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Wellington Mayor Anne Gerwig, Councilman Michael Napoleone, Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce CEO Mary Lou Bedford and others.

Cleveland Clinic Florida president and CEO, Wael K. Barsoum, M.D., offered opening remarks.

“We are excited about opening our first location in western Palm Beach County, which will provide Cleveland Clinic Florida patients with expanded access to world-class care and greater convenience,” he said.

The Wellington office is Cleveland Clinic’s fourth in Palm Beach County. For more information or to make an appointment, call (561) 898-5100.
