The City of West Palm Beach recently walked away with 18 awards for its signature community programming at the Florida Festivals & Events Association’s annual SUNsational Awards convention and tradeshow.
The city’s community event’s division won 14 awards for events including Clematis by Night, Sandi Land, Summer in Paradise and the GreenMarket. The city’s Community Redevelopment Agency received four awards for their events, including BBQ, Brews & Blues and Bourbon and Bowties.
“I am incredibly proud of the Department of Parks and Recreation’s community events division and the CRA for all of their hard work to ensure that the City of West Palm Beach provides opportunity and entertainment for locals and tourists,” said West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio. “The awards from the FFEA are truly a validation of our efforts, especially among strong local and statewide competition.”
