Ovarian cancer fund-raiser to be held at Gardens Mall

September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness month, and to help bring awareness to this disease, H.O.W. – Hearing the Ovarian Cancer Whisper – will host the 6th annual “Teal & Tango” girls’ night out Thursday, Sept. 7, from 6-8 p.m. at The Gardens Mall in Bloomingdale’s Court.

Guests will shop, eat and drink for a great cause – helping area woman fighting ovarian cancer. There also will be raffle baskets, goody bags and entertainment. Young H.O.W. patient advocate Patricia O’Connell will share her story of courage and survival.
