Birding by kayak adventure takes place April 16

If you’re searching for some outdoor adventure, consider taking a guided kayak tour at John D. MacArthur Beach State Park led by a park ranger Sunday, April 16 starting at 9 a.m.

You’ll paddle through Lake Worth Lagoon to Munyon Island with your sights set on spotting estuary birds and migratory songbirds on the island. Cost for the two-hour tour is $25 for a single kayak and $40 for a double kayak. Be sure to bring a water bottle, binoculars, water shoes and favorite birding guide, keeping in mind they might get wet. Attendees will pay at the Ranger station at 8:30 a.m.
