Royal Palm launches special needs baseball league

The Royal Palm Beach Parks and Recreation Department is offering a fun, non-competitive baseball league for area youth with special needs called The Royal Palm Beach Sunshine League.

Open to ages 5 through young adulthood, the league begins Friday, Feb. 10.

Cost to participate is $20 for Royal Palm Beach residents and $25 for non-residents and includes a uniform top. Players’ siblings are also invited to play.

Compassionate coaches are needed.
