Valentine’s Day

Flagler Museum brings back Valentine’s Day tea

The Flagler Museum invites couples to celebrate Valentine’s Day at Whitehall this year with an “Under the Palms” romantic tea package.

Henry Flagler built Whitehall estate as a wedding present to his wife and it remains one of America’s most romantic destinations. “Tea in the Cocoanut Grove” was a popular pastime for those visiting Palm Beach and Henry Flagler’s lavish resort hotels during the Gilded Age.

Couples may relive this elegant tradition with a special Tea-for-Two under the palms in the recently-restored Cocoanut Grove, while listening to the romantic sounds of a classical harp. A token Valentine’s keepsake is also included in the package price.

The event takes place Tuesday, Feb. 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Tea-for-Two Package costs $80 per couple for museum members and $120 for non-members, which also includes museum admission, tax and gratuity.

The Flagler Museum is at One Whitehall Way in Palm Beach.

For more information on the Tea-for-Two package, call (561) 655-2833.
