Olympian Dorothy Hamill will be the keynote speaker at “A Woman’s Journey,” the annual Johns Hopkins Medicine’s women’s health conference that takes place Thursday, Jan. 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The conference and luncheon will present the latest medical breakthroughs to empower women to make the best health decisions for themselves and their families. Attendees will enjoy a Johns Hopkins heart-healthy breakfast, two seminars of their choosing and lunch with members of the Hopkins faculty.
Hopkins doctors and specialists will present eight seminars that address important health issues facing women, such as strategies to get a good night’s sleep and choosing “power foods” to prevent disease.
Hamill will address her own journey through breast cancer and depression.
The event takes place at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach. Tickets are $150.
