This is Pincus’ third consecutive term. He previously served two terms as vice-chairman and has been a member of the DDA’s seven-person board since 2008.
Pincus moved to West Palm Beach in 2005 and quickly immersed himself in the joys of Downtown living.
He brings extensive experience and knowledge to the board from the perspective of both resident and business professional with a background in government, business, consulting and education.
“Downtown West Palm Beach is sustaining its remarkable resurgence and is now booming with an exciting mix of offices, retailers, restaurants and creative cultural venues,” said Pincus. “The DDA has played a key role in this success to enhance the area by working diligently with business owners, residents, visitors and government to create a vibrant, high-energy downtown that keeps people coming back again and again.”
Legally mandated to attract, retain and market a distinctive mix of retail, dining, office, entertainment and cultural venues within its taxing district, the DDA also leads a coordinated plan to address and improve economic development, public services, safety and the overall quality of life Downtown.
